Well, well, well.
So I had another look at my floundering and battered website as we have recently changed my hosting provider from MacHighway to Hostpapa (I did not change it – Hostpapa gobbled up MacHighway, and it got changed for me!). None of my log-ins work, but I managed to access the website directly via Hostpapa. Everything is up to date, and I have 198,907 pending comments to review – nifty, I am very popular!
I set everything up again, and then had the idea to try out Marsedit once again. As eager readers of this website know (all 198,907 of you!), Marsedit, my preferred blogging tool simply would not work with my website, and when I had to decrease the security of the site to be able to make it work, it got hacked badly, and it has never really recovered.
I started up Marsedit, and – it works!?!?!1!?
I am writing this post in Marsedit, and will send it into the ether imminently. I am having a bit of déjà-vu, as I seem to remember having been here before, and then Marsedit stopped working for no reason after a post or two. Let’s see how long it lasts this time – but I have the slim hope that the change to Hostpapa might have fixed whatever issue was responsible for interfering with Marsedit. Or, maybe my security is in the dumps again. Anyway, let’s enjoy this while we can…
